Group Consolidations Manager
  • Responsible for overseeing the enterprise consolidation process, reviewing inter-company transactions, profit eliminations, corporate consolidations accounting, and managing the consolidated general ledger and trial balance.
  • Ensure proper accounting for corporate transactions such as allocations, accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Utilize understanding of entity structure, general ledger, and financial systems to improve processes while maintaining data integrity.
  • Collaborate with corporate accounting, finance, and business units to support consolidation and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee consolidated financial closings, special transactions, and currency accounting processes.
  • Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with new accounting standards across entities.
  • Own the Group Consolidation process and maintain the accounting policy manual.
  • Evaluate foreign exchange exposure and implement controls.
  • Participate in software/process development for finance functions.
  • Research complex accounting issues, prepare memoranda, and ensure proper application of US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Work cross-functionally with parent company, subsidiaries, and auditors.
Desired Candidate Profile
  1. CA, CWA, CPA, or ACCA with at least 2 years' experience in intercompany transactions, revaluation, translation, multi-currency consolidations, and reporting.
  2. Strong technical skills in GAAP, IFRS, and foreign currency translation.
  3. Leadership, performance management, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proactive, self-motivated, confident, and team-oriented.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  6. Excellent communication skills, diplomacy, and teamwork.
  7. Ownership mentality and willingness to contribute beyond defined roles.
  8. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel (including Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
  9. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards is a plus.
  10. Ability to leverage technology to improve processes.
