The Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Manager manages the GCE Sales office to actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales.

What will I be doing?

As GCE Sales Manager, you will manage the sales office to convert enquiries into sales, interact with customers to understand their needs, and develop relationships for repeat business. Your responsibilities include:

  • Maximising revenue opportunities
  • Reviewing business plans and filling capacity gaps
  • Contributing to the hotel's selling strategy and ensuring departmental adherence
  • Understanding the competitive market and implementing strategies to stay ahead
  • Conducting weekly audits of bookings and team performance
  • Developing the GCE Sales Team in relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and contract processing
  • Managing team development, career progression, and succession planning
  • Organising hotel promotional activities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous managerial or supervisory experience in Reservations or GCE Sales in the hotel/leisure sector
