The main accountabilities of the Manager, Logistics Communications are:
- Deliver communication strategies aligned with business objectives and growth priorities at global and regional levels, tailored to the needs of cargo owner customers and prospects in key industry verticals.
- Provide communication advice and support to stakeholders and subject matter experts within specific industry verticals and capabilities within the Logistics business.
- Manage communication activities that impact identified customer segments.
- Collaborate with Group Communications Centres of Excellence and external agencies to develop and implement effective, cost-efficient strategies.
- Ensure all Business Communications activities align with the global brand purpose and the 'One DP World' positioning as a provider of end-to-end logistics solutions.
- Aim to deliver world-class B2B communications that support DP World's long-term positioning and immediate business objectives of the Logistics pillar.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide strategic and tactical communication advice to stakeholders and SMEs.
- Lead regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and visibility of business developments.
- Develop sector knowledge, audience insights, and understanding of services and products.
- Manage external agencies and vendors for specified projects.
- Create narratives and key messages related to strategy, ensuring high-quality, accurate content.
- Support Logistics industry event participation as needed.
- Implement clear project management processes to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Contribute to a metrics dashboard; deliver timely, accurate reports on objectives and KPIs.
- Collaborate with Group Communications Centres of Excellence and regional teams to maximize channel strategy and reach.
- Act as a DP World ambassador, promoting positive behaviors in line with company principles, values, and culture, while ensuring safety and adherence to the Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Approximately 8 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related fields.
- Experience in delivering integrated communication programs within budget and deadlines.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Understanding of financial reporting, business planning, and budgeting.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and design skills.
- Confident communicator and presenter.
- Knowledge of current digital and social media trends.
- Awareness of global economic and geopolitical contexts.
- Self-motivated with a professional, collaborative approach.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.
