Job description

Working Hours: 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM (UAE Time)

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Salary: Disbursed in either LKR or USD, based on your preference

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our fast-growing global business. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will oversee finance operations across multiple verticals including Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Private Funds, and Alternative Assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely financial reporting.
• Manage audits, internal controls, and financial operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and prepare dashboards.
• Oversee invoicing, payments, and daily financial transactions.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury, and manage capital resources.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations, statements, and Board reports.
• Collaborate on risk assessments and reporting with compliance teams.
• Handle treasury investments in fixed income and other instruments.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or MBA in Finance is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of IFRS Accounting standards and practical experience preferred.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant: ACA or equivalent.
• Experience with accounting for Funds or investment vehicles is highly desirable.
