Group Accounting Manager (Global MNC - Shipping Industry)

Join a fast-growing international organization providing critical services to the maritime and logistics sector. We are seeking a detail-oriented Group Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations and ensure excellence in financial reporting across global entities.


Group Accounting Manager – Dubai

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full set of accounts for group entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS
  • Oversee statutory audit processes, liaising closely with external auditors to deliver clean audit opinions
  • Manage tax compliance across jurisdictions, including coordination with tax advisors and submission of filings
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, group reporting packs, and ensure consistent accounting treatments
  • Drive month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring proper reconciliations and reporting
  • Develop, implement, and standardize group accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Provide financial insights to management and support on ad hoc audit, tax, and compliance-related matters
  • Partner with cross-border teams to ensure strong governance and alignment of accounting practices

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in handling full set of accounts, audit, and tax at group level
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA) preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High integrity, independence, and ability to work effectively across different geographies and time zones
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • French language skills are a strong plus
