GRMS Technician at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa

Hotel: Ras Al Khaimah Resort and Spa (RKTHA), Al Rafaa, Mina Al Arab

To keep things running smoothly, we’re searching for a proactive and passionate GRMS Technician to ensure our computers are installed properly, working efficiently, and protected from cyber threats. A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Ensuring all work follows safe work practices and procedures
• Responding immediately to work requests concerning Health and Safety
• Responding promptly to guest requests in a professional and courteous manner
• Operating, maintaining, and programming all GRMS components and cabling
• Ensuring optimal performance of all GRMS equipment and servers through effective preventive maintenance
• Evaluating equipment usage and energy efficiency, and responding appropriately
• Completing work orders diligently, maintaining a daily logbook, shop drawings, programming files, equipment catalogues, and tagging directories
• Completing tasks assigned by the IT Director or delegate
• Maintaining health and safety documentation and records
• Reporting and documenting safety hazards
• Participating in emergency response as directed

What we need from you:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science from a reputed institution
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and statistical skills, demonstrated through experience with spreadsheets
• Strong knowledge of hotel technology principles and practices
• Familiarity with organizational design models and decision-making frameworks
• Effective presentation, communication, consulting, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with management and colleagues
