Job summary

Wood UAE is seeking a Graduate Supply Chain professional to begin a career supporting procurement, expediting, logistics, and materials management on Oil & Gas projects. The role offers exposure to a global engineering environment and a structured graduate development pathway.

You will engage with suppliers, internal teams, and project stakeholders, developing practical experience across processes while adhering to company procedures and HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in SCM required or related field.
• UAE National (Family Book) required.
• Interest in Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics in Oil & Gas or Energy.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procurement activities including requisitions and POs.
• Support materials management and logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers, expeditors, and internal teams.
• Maintain procurement documentation in ERP systems.
• Support supplier performance monitoring and reporting.
• Participate in graduate development and mentoring programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Supply Chain professional at the early stage of their career to join a dynamic and experienced team supporting complex Oil & Gas and Energy projects. The role is ideally suited to a motivated UAE National graduate who is eager to develop practical experience across procurement, expediting, logistics, materials management, and supplier coordination within a global engineering and consulting environment.

The Key Objectives For This Role Are

• Support the delivery of supply chain and procurement activities in line with project requirements
• Develop foundational knowledge of Oil & Gas supply chain processes, systems, and controls
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, ethical standards, and client requirements
• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function

Responsibilities

• Assist with procurement activities including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor coordination.
• Support materials management and logistics activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Liaise with suppliers, expeditors, logistics providers, and internal project teams.
• Maintain accurate procurement and supply chain documentation within ERP systems.
• Support supplier performance monitoring and reporting.
• Assist in expediting, inspection coordination, and documentation review.
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Participate in graduate development and mentoring programmes.

Expected

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline
• UAE National (Family Book required)
