Job summary

Savills Building & Projects Consultancy in Dubai is offering a graduate role to start a career in project management within the built environment. You will work with experienced project managers, learn the full lifecycle from inception to handover, and take on increasing responsibility toward a Project Manager role.

This Dubai-based role runs Monday to Friday 8am–5pm, with company support to pursue a recognised professional qualification (e.g., RICS APC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and the project lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of MS Office; exposure to MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD or Bluebeam is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Eager to learn and be a reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day management of assigned projects through design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Help track project programmes and milestones, and raise delays or risks with the team.
• Attend design, progress and coordination meetings, and prepare minutes and action trackers.
• Take part in site visits and help prepare site inspection reports covering progress, quality and HSE observations.
• Learn Savills' project management processes and quality procedures through on-the-job training and mentoring; pursue a professional qualification with company support.
• Follow Savills' quality procedures and UAE health, safety and environmental requirements.
