Job summary

AECOM is seeking a motivated Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our MEICA team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on pumping stations, HVAC systems and related water infrastructure. You will work under senior engineers across concept through IFC, performing calculations, equipment selection and drawings while coordinating with other disciplines.

The role offers on-site training, exposure to international standards and opportunities for professional development within a global infrastructure leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Understanding of fluid mechanics, hydraulics and mechanical equipment.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Willingness to learn and work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design for potable water, firefighting, irrigation, sewage and treated effluent pumping stations.
• Assist with calculations, equipment selection, schedules and design reports.
• Prepare layouts, PFDs, piping arrangements and mechanical schematics.
• Coordinate with electrical, BIM and other disciplines; participate in design meetings and site visits.
