Role Overview: As a Graduate Highways Engineer at AECOM, you will be a key member of our Highways team working on impactful road design projects and gaining exposure to essential design software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers in preparing scope of works documents and project design criteria.
• Apply Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures to ensure sound and coordinated design across disciplines.
• Utilize PowerPoint to create presentations and progress reports.
• Demonstrate strong communication and technical report writing skills.
• Develop proficiency in road design software.
• Familiarity with engineering standards, codes of practice, and local authority guidelines is advantageous.

What We're Looking For: We are seeking a motivated graduate who:

• Is passionate about road design and engineering.
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Is proficient in design software or willing to learn.
• Has a keen attention to detail and a desire to deliver high-quality work.
• Has previous consultancy road design internship experience (a plus).

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with courses taken in Roads/Highways related subjects from an accredited University
• Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
• Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
• As part of AECOM's commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
