Job summary

Wood in Dubai is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join the team. The role focuses on concept design, analysis of structures, and detailing for steel and concrete frameworks. You will work on wind and seismic load evaluations and layout tasks, with exposure to Staad Pro and other software.

The ideal candidate delivers clear communication, is autonomous, safety-focused, and fluent in English (and Arabic). This is a full-time, on-site design position in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in civil design or related field.
• Familiar with structural design concepts and detailing.
• Experience with wind and seismic load analysis is a plus.
• Proficiency in relevant codes for steel and concrete.
• Strong communication and autonomous problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and detailing of structural frameworks (steel and concrete).
• Assist in wind and seismic load evaluations and analyses.
• Prepare MRs and assist with layout of road, drainage, and culverts.
