Job Overview

As a Sustainability Business Account Manager, you will engage with new business contacts to assist companies of all sizes with their energy management and carbon reporting. Your role involves promoting sustainability practices, conducting consultations, analyzing current plans, and proposing strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs and emissions. This position combines business acumen, sustainability knowledge, and passion to help clients achieve their environmental goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Prospect for new business via various channels including outbound calling and networking.
  2. Collaborate with clients to deliver tailored sustainability solutions that optimise energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
  3. Lead the implementation of sustainable energy solutions, including energy-efficient technologies and carbon reduction initiatives.
  4. Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and partnerships.
  5. Expand sustainable energy services to existing clients to drive revenue and environmental benefits.
  6. Successfully onboard new clients.

Minimum Requirements
  • Proven experience in account management, business development, or sales.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable energy practices and energy efficiency strategies.
  • Previous cold calling experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Analytical skills to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Highly organised, pragmatic, and confident in meeting deadlines.
  • Good understanding of MS Office and CRM systems.
