Stantec is seeking a talented and motivated design professional to advance our architectural practice. The role of Architect will involve a wide range of project types supporting our current high-profile client base.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide design within our emerging commercial architectural practice. Given our high-profile client base regionally, design talent and the ability to communicate and generate strong design ideas are key components of this role.
- Provide conceptual architectural design for master planning projects and lead vertical architecture work. Develop a portfolio of commercial architectural projects, providing design leadership while ensuring quality in line with Stantec’s standards.
- Manage the design process from inception through concept, schematic, and detailed design to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with design leadership across offices to ensure best practices and high-quality outcomes.
- Coordinate resources support and management across offices as required.
- Support the local Business Center Lead and Sector Leaders, focusing on growth in the commercial sector.
- Help develop and maintain client relationships, maintaining a pipeline of project opportunities.
Person Specifications and Qualifications:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Architecture.
- UAE National.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Architect focusing on design.
- Expert in Revit Architecture with a commitment to professional development.
- Knowledge of architectural principles, techniques, and technical detailing to produce drawings meeting international standards.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, taking ownership of deliverables.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to contribute to discipline-specific discussions.
- Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members of different disciplines.
- Practical hands-on experience in architectural design.
- Inventive and imaginative in building design and master planning.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player eager to grow with the organization.
- Experience with architectural software including Revit Architecture; knowledge of Navisworks, 3ds Max, Rhino, and Photoshop is an advantage.
- Organized, dynamic, and capable of multitasking.
