Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai is seeking a GPS Technician to perform new installs, routine maintenance and troubleshooting of IVMS/GPS devices to ensure optimal performance.

You will close all job cards within activation timeframes, update MMS records on the same day, and maintain hard copies when required. You will follow company procedures and ISO/QHSE standards while communicating clearly with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified GPS Technician (CGT) or relevant electronics certifications.
• Minimum of 2–3 years hands-on experience in GPS installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with fleet management systems and telematics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform new GPS installations, regular maintenance and troubleshooting issues related to installed IVMS/GPS devices to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensures all job cards are closed within the specific timeframe from the time of activation.
• Ensure all completed tasks are properly updated in the MMS system on the same day and maintain hard copies when required.
• Complete service assignments promptly in accordance with company standards and customer expectations to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Always maintain clear and professional communication with clients, supervisors, and team members.
• Apply strong technical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve hardware or connectivity issues.
• Perform all service tasks professionally and in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accountability and responsibility.
• Ensure to comply with ISO standards and company procedures.
• Adhere to QHSE rules, policies and procedures preserving own safety and that of others who may be affected by personal acts of omission.
• Ensures that the company uniform is worn properly while on duty, maintaining a neat and presentable appearance.
• Performs other related duties as required.
