Job Description
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to secure government contracts in the building materials sector, ensuring alignment with local regulations and procurement processes.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, understanding their specific needs and preferences to tailor product offerings effectively.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends in government projects and building material requirements, positioning the company as a leading provider.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to government agencies, showcasing product benefits and competitive advantages.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and final closing, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and product development, to ensure the timely delivery and adaptation of products to meet client specifications.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, utilizing data analytics to refine strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Act as the primary point of contact for government accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
- Stay informed about changes in government policies and industry regulations that may impact sales opportunities in the building materials market.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and establish connections with potential government clients.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the building materials industry, with a focus on government accounts.
- Strong understanding of the Dubai government procurement processes and regulations, with a track record of successful contract wins.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred for effective communication with local stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close high-value contracts and manage complex sales cycles.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with government officials and key decision-makers.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools to track performance and optimize sales efforts.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a competitive environment.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
