Job description

Job Title: Govt. Relations Officer

To provide Govt. Relations support services by liaising with government departments such as traffic, police, ministries, for the registration of vehicles, new branch openings, traffic fine payments, and other miscellaneous issues requiring resolution through appropriate Govt. authorities to facilitate the administrative process.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Support the sales team in enhancing sales activities by organizing registration, cancellation, and re-registration of vehicles.
  2. Liaise with traffic departments to obtain fine details and arrange for fine payments.
  3. Handle and resolve any Govt. Relations (GR) queries related to vehicles, traffic, fines, etc.
  4. Monitor vehicle registration expiry dates and provide the accounts department with a monthly breakdown of vehicle registration expenses.
  5. Obtain detailed information on traffic fines from the Office Administrator; ensure timely payments to avoid account blocks for vehicle registration.
  6. Forward details such as vehicle number, fine amount, date, and reason to the administrator for appropriate charging and ensure IOU settlements as per company policy.
  7. Maintain the safe custody of the company stamp and registration documents.
  8. Coordinate with police departments regarding cases against defaulting customers and liaise with company lawyers for filing cases when required.
  9. Gather information from Government Offices for new branch openings and coordinate all documentation and approvals for establishing new branches.
  10. Build effective relationships and networks with Government authorities to ensure the prompt processing of formalities.
Minimum Educational Qualification

Higher Secondary School Certificate

  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
