Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to be part of our team as a Governance and Effectiveness Officer. The role is pivotal in developing and maintaining internal team governance including policies and procedures manuals and documentation relating to product development, management of partners, and wellness events.

Reporting to the Head of Product, Solution Strategy, Vendor Management, and Health & Well-being, the role is responsible for ensuring team compliance relating to the internal and external governance requirements.

The Governance Officer develops internal team guidelines, policies, and procedures liaising with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure strict adherence to compliance requirements. This role is essential in meeting internal and external compliance requirements.

An extension of this role will see the individual manage post-sales marketing collaterals. This critical role will ensure any information that a member or client receives is positioned in a way that fits the company’s brand guidelines and is factual and informative.

Key Responsibilities

• Create internal team policies and procedures documents that meet the required compliance requirements.
• Analyse and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.
• Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish effective governance.
• Conduct monthly/annual reviews ensuring team members strictly follow the internal team policies and procedures.
• Make recommendations to management on improvements to meet compliance requirements.
• Manage post-sale marketing collateral requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring the content follows company branding guidelines and articulates the information/messaging concisely.

Qualifications

• UAE National (Emirati)
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a governance, audit, or operating effectiveness role ideally in a corporate environment
• Excellent organisational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering solutions for customers
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, complex timelines, and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong organisational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
