As a PGA-certified Golf Professional, you will redefine how guests learn and enjoy golf by leveraging fun, interactive technology and best-in-class teaching methods. You’ll deliver first-rate instruction—individual and semi-private—to a diverse clientele, helping them develop and practice the fundamentals of their swing in a low-pressure environment and driving engagement through innovative programs and community outreach.
Experience Required
- PGA Certification from an accredited golf association (PGA or equivalent)
- Diploma or Degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field (preferred)
- Coaching Experience : Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on instruction at a golf academy, driving range, or club setting
- Technical Proficiency : Skilled in using swing-analysis technology and modern teaching aids
- Instructional Ability : Proven track record of developing and delivering engaging individual and group lessons across all skill levels
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills : Excellent rapport-building, presentation, and customer-service capabilities
- Organizational Skills : Comfortable managing a coaching diary, scheduling lessons, and tracking progress reports
- Physical Fitness : Able to walk the tee line for extended periods and assist with equipment handling
First-Class Instruction
- Deliver engaging individual and semi-private lessons to guests of all skill levels (juniors through avid golfers)
- Utilize swing-analysis technology, learning theories, and teaching aids to customize each session
- Maintain and manage a coaching diary, scheduling and executing all lessons
Facility & Program Growth
- Walk the Tee Line during peak times to support guest play and suggest lessons when appropriate
- Grow the venue’s golf services platform through targeted marketing, community outreach, and on-site promotion
- Assist in execution of leagues, tournaments, summer camps (e.g., Topgolf Academy), and player-development series
Event & Equipment Support
- Collaborate with the Events team to promote and host lessons at special events
- Provide game explanations, hosting support, and on-course coaching during events
- Assist with club repairs and general maintenance of golf equipment
- Support Senior Academy Leadership with league setup, marketing, sales, and execution
- Represent the Academy on cross-departmental committees (Staff, Green Theme, Sport, etc.)
- Demonstrate and uphold the Club’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, and 4-step Service Targets in all interactions
