Job summary

NTU International A/S is seeking experienced urban development professionals for its Global Gateway Transport and Urban Facility Talent Pool. The role involves shaping sustainable urban development, mobility and resilience across diverse regions, in collaboration with public authorities and international partners.

The position emphasizes urban governance reform, policy advisory and robust project preparation, with a strong emphasis on inclusive and climate‑resilient city planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in urban development, urban planning, municipal infrastructure or related sectors.
• Experience in integrated urban planning, urban regeneration, sustainable urban mobility and climate resilience is desirable.
• Experience with international technical assistance, donor-funded and IFI-financed projects is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Global Gateway, European Green Deal and international good practices is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support identification, preparation, appraisal and implementation of sustainable urban development projects and programmes.
• Conduct urban diagnostics, prefeasibility and feasibility studies, technical and financial analyses.
• Support urban planning, land-use planning and master plan development.
• Advise authorities on urban policies, governance reforms and regulatory frameworks.
• Prepare urban investment pipelines aligned with Global Gateway priorities.
• Integrate climate resilience and nature-based solutions into urban investments.
• Coordinate with municipalities, EU Delegations, IFIs and private sector stakeholders.
