Job summary

James Douglas Middle East is seeking a seasoned Head of Treasury based in the UAE to lead centralized treasury management for the group. This role oversees cash flow, liquidity planning, funding strategies, internal capital allocation, and robust governance, reporting to senior leadership.

The candidate should hold a Chartered Accountant designation, have 15+ years of treasury experience, and be comfortable working directly with promoters and the Chairman. UAE residency is mandatory.

Qualifications

• CA is mandatory.
• Based in UAE is required.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant finance/treasury experience.
• Strong experience in treasury, cash management, funding, banking, liquidity and capital allocation.
• Experience in diversified groups, family offices, infrastructure, investment, or multinational environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized cash and liquidity management across group entities.
• Manage daily cash positions, liquidity forecasting and working capital requirements.
• Develop and execute funding strategies, including banking facilities, debt, and capital planning.
• Oversee internal lending and capital allocation across group businesses.
• Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain robust treasury policies, controls and governance.
• Monitor debt facilities, covenants, interest costs, FX, liquidity and counterparty risks.
• Prepare cash-flow forecasts, financial analysis and treasury reports for senior management.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, audits and strategic financial decision-making.
