Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Tax professional to manage VAT, income tax compliance, and related reporting for the resort and its affiliates. The role requires strong analytical skills, 5+ years in accounting or tax, and CPA or equivalent credentials.

Collaboration with UAE and international teams is essential. The position involves preparing tax provisions and disclosures, overseeing fixed asset depreciation for tax, and supporting audits by tax authorities and external firms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA license or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Accounting and/or Tax; Big 4 experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with deadlines and reprioritize as needed.
• Experience in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review VAT and income tax computations for compliance and reporting.
• Prepare and review tax fixed asset records for offices and affiliates.
• Collaborate with UAE and international teams to gather tax records and handle inquiries.
• Prepare tax returns, estimated payments, extensions, and related workpapers.
• Prepare tax provisions and review income tax disclosures for financials.
• Manage fixed asset depreciation, capitalization, transfer, disposal and reconciliations.
• Review cost segregation studies for asset classification.
• Assist with tax authority audits and external financial audits.
• Assist forecasting, tax planning computations and analyses.
• Assist in transfer pricing reports.
• Prepare records for SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with FTA requirements and readiness for audits.
