Job Purpose

  • To execute and support various functions of the Global Logistics department.
  • To support or lead the SCM team of all LE factories for improvements in process and material delivery.

Key Accountabilities

Global Logistics role

  • Group S&OP - Furnishing Group S&OP incorporating capacity of each factory, lead-time of each product, understanding constraints, and resolving them. Measured by timely release of MPS to factories.
  • Global shipping project - Review and ensure minimum shipping prices for all transport modes, incorporating the most effective shipping methods. Measured by cost reduction percentages, service levels, KPIs.
  • Supply chain digitization - Contribute to various digitization projects.
  • LE Supply Chain improvements - Address issues like material availability, stock accuracy, high inventory, and reduce lead-times to customers.
  • Process standardization - Standardize supply chain processes across all Lucy sites, measured by LIMS documentation.
  • Group Inventory report - Analyze and monitor Lucy Electric Group Inventory and prepare monthly reports for finance, measured by report timeliness.
  • Lead-time management - Develop mechanisms to update product lead-times in real-time across companies, aiding sales in delivery commitments.
  • Budget & MTP file updates - Coordinate with LE factories to prepare and release budgets as scheduled.
  • Global KPIs - Review SCM KPIs monthly, such as stock accuracy, turns, material availability, OTDF, OTIF.
  • Customs and HS codes - Study customs requirements, finalize standard HS codes, and ensure implementation across sites.
  • Projects - Carry out continuous improvement projects in SCM.

Global SCM Support/Lead LE sites

  • MRP Analysis - Set parameters and safety stocks.
  • PO management - Ensure timely placement and manage exceptions.
  • Supplier relationship management - Measure and improve supplier performance.
  • Delivery improvement - Expedite shortages to achieve 100% OTIF.
  • Team development - Provide technical training and motivate staff.
  • Supply chain risk assessment - Conduct regular assessments to resolve bottlenecks.
  • VMI setup - Plan and review vendor-managed inventory periodically.

Job Context

The position is responsible for:

  • Global Logistics: S&OP, routes, rates, service levels, inventory reporting, budget & MTP.
  • Global SCM: Process development, D365 improvements, supplier OTIF, VMI, team training, site/vendor visits.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

A graduation degree in engineering with at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management in manufacturing.

Minimum Experience: 5 years in SCM.

Job-Specific Skills

  • Technical expertise in SCM, strategic thinking, innovation, communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP, D365, and manufacturing processes.
  • Computer literacy and effective writing skills.
