Global Sales Manager Square Frame (HDP) Motors (flexible location)

Join us at ABB Ventures as a Global Sales Manager for Square Frame (HDP) Motors . This position is open to candidates worldwide, with a hybrid work model.

About the Role

As a Global Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding market presence and driving sales growth of our advanced motor solutions. You will leverage data insights to identify market opportunities, support local sales teams, and contribute to product strategy by gathering market intelligence and understanding customer needs. Your work will support the IEC LV Motors division globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive top-line growth through proactive sales initiatives, pursuing opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers to foster innovation, unlock new business, and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Analyze market, customer, and competitor data to anticipate shifts and define strategic directions.
  • Support local teams with technical and commercial expertise, training, and tools to convert opportunities into sales. Willingness to travel (~30%) is required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, or Sales in an industrial context.
  • Strong motivation and customer-centric approach.
  • Solid technical understanding of industrial electric motors and drives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand clients' businesses and prioritize their needs.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights.
