Job summary

DP World is seeking a Global Manager Automation – RTG to lead and advance the global automation strategy for Rubber‑Tired Gantry crane systems. You will coordinate RTG automation projects, PoCs, and cross‑functional initiatives with Engineering, Operations, and regional offices.

The role focuses on data‑driven improvements, safety, and energy efficiency across all RTG levels. You will develop technical specs for scalable rollouts, identify quick wins, and ensure alignment with DP World’s

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/robotics/automation or similar.
8+ years in terminal automation with emphasis on RTG systems and PLC programming.
Experience with robotics, AI and machine learning.
Experience in project management and end‑to‑end delivery of automation projects.

Responsibilities

Coordinate RTG automation projects and PoCs across global BUs and ROs.
Collect and analyze RTG performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Develop robust technical specifications to enable scalable global rollouts of RTG automation.
Drive safety, energy efficiency and operational excellence in yard automation.
