Job summary

DP World, a global leader in smart terminal automation, seeks a seasoned director to own and scale automated solutions across its terminals. The role focuses on BOXBAY and other Industry 4.0 initiatives, driving integration with quay, yard, and TOS while coordinating across regions and partners.

You will manage the Automation Playbook, develop impact models, and translate operational needs into actionable automation concepts for large-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, control engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a related discipline.
• Fifteen or more years delivering complex automation solutions in industrial environments.
• Experience taking automation from feasibility and technical maturity through first operational integration, stabilization and scaling.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance DP World’s Smart Terminal Automation portfolio including BOXBAY.
• Lead the automation rollouts and ensure BOXBAY integrates into quay, yard, transport and TOS.
• Define requirements and roadmaps for automation that complement core crane and vehicle categories.
• Lead the Automation Playbook execution and development of the impact model.
• Engage with regions, business units and terminal leadership to progress viable automation opportunities.
