Summary :

The Global PR Director will lead the development and execution of innovative public relations strategies to elevate brand visibility, reputation, and image. Responsibilities include coordinating key product launches and collaborations across markets, working closely with the founder, and fostering relationships with media outlets, editors, and industry leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
  1. Public Relations (PR):
    • Define and implement a comprehensive global PR strategy.
    • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all markets.
    • Drive PR operational excellence and protect the brand reputation.
  2. Media Relations and Strategic Projects:
    • Cultivate relationships with top-tier media and opinion leaders.
    • Serve as the spokesperson for major announcements and initiatives.
    • Initiate disruptive collaborations with media outlets.
  3. Campaigns and Storytelling:
    • Create compelling stories highlighting innovation, inclusivity, and ethics.
    • Collaborate on product launches and initiatives through PR campaigns.
  4. Crisis Management:
    • Develop and execute crisis communication plans.
  5. Measurement and Reporting:
    • Track KPIs and report PR effectiveness to leadership.
  6. Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the founder and senior leadership.
    • Partner with marketing teams to align PR goals with business objectives.
    • Lead PR teams across markets ensuring innovative strategies are implemented consistently.
    • Establish yourself as a media partner in innovative beauty collaborations.
  7. Operational Skills :
    • Excellent communication skills in English.
    • Strong representation, confidence, kindness, and agility.
  8. Budget Management :
    • Experience in analytics, reporting, and managing budgets effectively.
  9. Requirements :
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related fields.
    • 8+ years of PR experience, preferably in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
    • Proven success in designing and executing PR campaigns, including digital and social media.
    • Deep media landscape knowledge and extensive media relationships.
    • Expertise in crisis communication and social impact principles.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strategic yet hands-on approach; multilingual and global experience a plus.
    • Additional qualities include strategic vision, creativity, relationship-building, sustainability commitment, cultural sensitivity, and results orientation.
