Purpose of the Job

The Global Marketing Director is a key strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing Aramex's global marketing vision in alignment with commercial priorities. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role will drive brand leadership, customer-centric growth, and market expansion across all regions. The ideal candidate will bring a global perspective, commercial acumen, and a transformational mindset to elevate Aramex's market presence and business performance.

  • Design and lead a global marketing strategy that directly supports Aramex's commercial growth, customer acquisition, and market leadership objectives.
  • Translate commercial goals into integrated marketing programs that drive measurable business outcomes across regions and verticals.
  • Partner with the commercial leadership to align marketing investments with revenue targets, customer segments, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Architect a globally consistent yet locally relevant brand strategy that differentiates Aramex in a competitive logistics landscape.
  • Elevate brand equity through strategic storytelling, thought leadership, and high-impact campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Lead global brand governance and ensure alignment across all customer touchpoints.
  • Champion a customer-first approach by embedding insights, analytics, and voice-of-customer programs into marketing strategy.
  • Drive segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing to enhance customer engagement, retention, and value.
  • Collaborate with product and commercial teams to shape offerings that meet evolving customer needs.
  • Lead the evolution of marketing capabilities through digital innovation, performance marketing, and marketing technology.
  • Scale data-driven marketing programs that optimize ROI and accelerate growth across digital ecosystems.
  • Identify and implement emerging tools and platforms to future-proof marketing operations.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed marketing organization with a culture of agility, innovation, and accountability.
  • Develop global marketing talent through coaching, succession planning, and cross-regional collaboration.
  • Foster a unified team culture while empowering regional teams to execute with local relevance.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CCO and executive leadership on market trends, brand performance, and customer dynamics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Operations, and Finance to ensure marketing is fully integrated into business planning and execution.
  • Represent marketing in global leadership forums, strategic initiatives, and external engagements.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including 5+ years in a global or regional executive role.
  • Demonstrated success in aligning marketing with commercial strategy and driving global brand growth.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or B2B services is highly desirable.
