Job summary

EY is seeking a Consultant in the Indirect Tax team to advise clients on VAT treatment of transactions and help resolve disputes with authorities.

You will work within a global network of VAT professionals, supporting meetings with management and preparing client reports across industries.

Strong communication in English, problem-solving and project management skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting.
• Experience as Indirect Tax professional (1 year+).
• Experience with Big 4 or similar firms preferred.

Responsibilities

• You are expected to work effectively as a member of EY's VAT team, supporting cross-border assignments and client communications.
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules for clients and internal stakeholders, building relationships across service lines.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver VAT advice on global jurisdictions and potential future VAT developments.
