Xtrava Group is partnering a privately-owned, global engineering company with over 50 years of experience providing turnkey bespoke process plants and systems across the energy and resource sectors.

With operations across Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and North America, the business is entering a period of significant growth, aiming to increase energy revenues by 50% over the next 3 years.

Joining the executive team, and reporting to the CEO, the Head of Energy will take ownership of this ambition, leading a highly experienced global sales team, strengthening commercial performance, and playing a central role in defining the strategic direction of the Energy division, which represents 75% of current operations.

The Energy team is stable, cohesive, and technically sophisticated. Respecting what exists today, while leading the shift toward what’s next will be key. You’ll be responsible for navigating succession across a high-tenure workforce, mentoring the next generation of leaders, and supporting the company’s broader evolution as it explores opportunities in energy transition, emerging geographies, and organisational redesign.

We are looking for:

• Proven leadership of international, matrixed teams ideally in the oil & gas industries
• Expertise in complex, project-based sales environments
• A track record of commercial growth, transformation, and P&L leadership
• High emotional intelligence, with the ability to balance performance and people in dynamic settings
• A collaborative mindset aligned to a culture that values integrity, respect, and long-term partnership
