Job Purpose
The Global Head of Business Development will play a critical role in driving sales and revenue growth across FundedNext's brokerage division. This role demands a visionary leader to develop, implement, and optimize sales strategies, ensuring a streamlined and effective approach that aligns with the company’s long-term objectives. As a key driver of market expansion and business development, the Global Head of Business Development will be instrumental in positioning FundedNext & its brokerage division as leaders in the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to expand the broker’s presence in existing and new markets.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in CFD trading, including new products (e.g., crypto CFDs, indices, commodities) and client segments (retail, institutional).
- Oversee the establishment of local offices or partnerships in key regions, ensuring compliance with regional regulations and cultural nuances.
- Drive market-entry strategies by coordinating with legal, compliance, marketing, and operations teams.
Forecasting and Budgeting
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting to senior management, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals.
- Accurately forecast sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
- Manage the sales team’s budget effectively, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.
Team Leadership and Development
- Recruit, train, and lead a global sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- Set clear performance objectives, track progress, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to maximize team performance.
- Establish and monitor sales KPIs to ensure accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
Global Expansion
- Expand the company's global strategic partnership network to drive new client acquisition.
- Establish and oversee regional sales teams in key markets (e.g., Asia, EMEA), ensuring their growth and development.
- Expand and maintain a robust network of partnerships that drive client acquisition and market penetration.
Brand Promotion
- Plan, organize, and participate in global financial events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote the company.
- Identify strategic sponsorship opportunities to boost the company's brand visibility in key markets.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop branding strategies that support sales initiatives.
Key Requirements
Experience & Knowledge
- Proven experience in senior business development roles within the financial services industry, with a demonstrated track record in CFD trading and brokerage, preferably with prior experience in a similar global organization.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and leading high-performing sales teams across multiple geographies.
- Expertise in sales forecasting, budgeting, and strategic market analysis.
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations for global financial markets.
- Strong network of industry contacts and experience in partnership development.
- Leadership Skills : Exceptional ability to lead and inspire global teams while ensuring accountability and results.
