Job summary

Cognita is seeking a Head of Finance Systems to own the technology powering Finance across our global group, including ERP, payments and planning. You will set the roadmap, lead the team and ensure secure, scalable platforms built around Finance needs.

Hybrid role based in Dubai or London with occasional travel; requires a track record delivering major ERP implementations, strong stakeholder leadership, and the ability to translate Finance requirements into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise Finance systems or ERP in a multi-entity organisation.
• Proven track record delivering major implementations and upgrades.
• Strong people, stakeholder and vendor leadership at senior Finance levels.
• Ability to shape roadmaps and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Solid grounding in service management and change control.
• Degree or professional qualification in Finance, IT or Business.

Responsibilities

• Own ERP, payments and planning systems lifecycle and roadmap.
• Translate Finance needs into requirements and plans.
• Lead major implementations and upgrades with governance.
• Simplify and automate across Finance tech and processes.
• Set SLAs, controls and security/compliance for systems.
• Manage strategic vendors on performance and renewals.
• Coach Finance Systems team and partner with Finance/Data/Tech.
