Job summary

Emirates Group IT is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to design, govern and evolve the Group's solution architecture in alignment with business and IT strategies. You will lead architectural standards, drive cloud-native initiatives and enable cross-functional teams across global aviation operations.

The role requires hands-on AWS/Azure experience, strong leadership of architects and developers, and a track record of delivering scalable, secure IT platforms in a large enterprise

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent IT discipline.
• Hands-on experience with architecture in AWS and Azure.
• Experience in microservices, cloud-native apps and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead definition and governance of new IT standards and practices.
• Scout market trends and translate them into IT strategy and roadmaps.
• Oversee solution architecture for initiatives, ensuring cost, risk and performance alignment.
• Provide architecture reviews and drive implementation of architectural standards.
• Coordinate with senior architects and engineering teams on complex programs.
