Job summary

Arena Europe, Middle East & Asia in Dubai, UAE invites a Group Financial Specialist to lead the Group's consolidation and financial reporting under IFRS across a multinational structure. You will work closely with the Group Financial Controller to ensure accurate, timely reporting and strong internal controls.

The role covers statutory reporting, tax considerations, audit coordination, and driving process improvements with FP&A, Treasury, and local finance teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience in group consolidation and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation and reporting for the Group across multiple regions.
• Prepare shareholder, Board, and management reporting with commentary.
• Coordinate external audit and act as primary finance contact for auditors.
• Provide IFRS guidance on complex transactions and maintain Group policies.
• Oversee statutory reporting for holding entities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, schedules, and consolidation controls.
• Support tax accounting, transfer pricing, VAT, and IAS 12 disclosures.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and local teams on tax compliance.
