Job description

One of Lockton’s fast growing business units is the International Benefits Desk, responsible for supporting Lockton’s Global offices with placement of People Solutions (group life and medical) policies in the UAE and wider Middle East region. The Global CRM will be responsible for the management of an allocated portfolio of clients, in coordination with the producing Lockton or Lockton Global Partner office. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an exemplary service and contribute towards expanded client and Lockton global office relationships. The individual will take ownership of the accounts in partnership with the producing Lockton office.

Your Responsibilities

  • Understand clients benefit requirements and provide advice on insurers services, coverage and pricing.
  • Provision of the day-to-day servicing of a client’s insurance programme to support retention and development of the business.
  • Support consulting projects and development of new lines of business.
  • Ensure renewal timelines are met and market reviews undertaken and placed in advance of renewal.
  • Identify the risk exposures and advise on insurance and risk management solutions in consultation with the producing office.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are fully met.
  • Ensure that clients understand the Lockton cash collection terms and monitor and resolve debtor queries in a timely manner to ensure prompt payment of premiums and fees.
  • Review with appropriate associates at the earliest opportunity, any case under threat or where perceived vulnerable and implement, monitor and oversee a plan of action.
  • Support expansion of services and identify and progress new business leads.
  • Support development of insurer relationships.
  • Support the global benefit team and liaise with our producer network worldwide, if applicable.

Required Qualifications & Skillset

  • Previous experience within Employee Benefits is essential
  • Proven experience in a similar role working with EB clients
  • An understanding of the general, Legal principles of insurance.
  • An understanding of insurer rating methods for each class of insurance.
  • An understanding of risk management concepts and when these are useful to clients.
  • An understanding of insurer products and specialisms.
  • Ability to broke and service the insurance needs of clients.
  • Ability to prepare a broking presentation that accurately reflects the cover required and meets the clients' demands and needs.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret claims experiences and analysis including claims triangulations and the impact of deductibles and cover variations.
