Redstone Commodity Search partners with a dynamic and rapidly expanding physical commodities trading group in Dubai to recruit an experienced cement trader to set up and run a global cementitious products trading team from Dubai.

The role focuses on driving growth, building robust supplier and customer relationships across LATAM, Africa and Asia, and navigating regulatory environments to ensure sustainable profitability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience in trading cement, clinker, fly ash, gypsum, or other cementitious products.
• Strong track record in negotiations and relationship management within the cement industry.
• Deep knowledge of global cement market dynamics, trade practices, and regulatory environments.
• A portable, high‑value book of business showing client relationships and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and development of trading operations, focusing on cement and related products (clinker, gypsum, slag, fly ash).
• Build, nurture, and maintain robust global relationships with cement suppliers and customers, ideally LATAM, Africa and Asia.
• Conduct in-depth market analysis to stay ahead of market trends, supply-demand shifts, and pricing strategies.
• Lead negotiations for procurement and sales, ensuring favourable terms while managing regional complexities and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with trading activities to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
