Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking an entrepreneurial Cementitious Products Trader to lead our Asia expansion, originating, negotiating and executing physical trades across limestone, gabbro, gypsum, clinker, fly ash, slag and cement.

The role carries front-office responsibility for building supplier and customer networks, identifying profitable opportunities, and managing the end-to-end trading lifecycle from origination to settlement across regional markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of physical trading experience in cementitious products.
• Proven track record handling 1 million metric tonnes annually in Asia.
• Experience sourcing, origination, negotiations and trade execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the Cementitious Products trading business across Asia.
• Originate and execute physical trades of limestone, gabbro, gypsum, clinker, fly ash, slag and cement.
• Build relationships with producers, distributors, traders and customers.
• Negotiate terms including pricing, logistics and contracts.
• Manage full trade lifecycle from origination to settlement.
• Ensure accurate trade reporting in internal systems.
