Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented GIS Specialist to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position is responsible for accomplishing complex analytic, data development, data manipulation, and data validation work related to geo-spatial platforms.

We envisage success in this role to include:

• Creating and/or preparing, and maintaining critical geo-spatial databases for client projects, including the development of complex geo-fencing boundaries.
• Developing advanced specialized maps utilizing geographic and demographic information.
• Extracting demographic information from various databases for use in maps or reports.
• Providing support to the project as required.
• Performing quality assurance on all products or services being developed for projects and clients.
• Interfacing with studio colleagues and clients as the primary database support resource.
• Supporting clients and internal resources in map development, geocoding, database development, and database design.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 8 years work experience with public realm and master planning developments, partnered with a Bachelor degree and relevant GIS trainings.

Advanced proficiency in ESRI ArcMap, MapInfo, or other GIS-related technologies is required for this role.
