Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with a Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry to join a leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi. You will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment for older adults, with a focus on dementia and complex behavioral issues.

Arabic language proficiency is essential to communicate with patients and families and to deliver culturally appropriate care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree is required (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
• Board certification in Psychiatry is required.
• Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and follow-up for adult and geriatric patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide consultation to other specialties.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and participate in governance and quality initiatives.
