Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for adult and geriatric patients.
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and clinical risk assessments.
• Diagnose and manage complex psychiatric and behavioral conditions affecting older adults.
• Assess and treat behavioral and psychological symptoms associated with dementia.
• Develop individualized psychiatric treatment plans.
• Provide appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust management according to clinical response.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and allied health professionals.
• Provide psychiatric consultation to other medical specialties regarding behavioral and mental health concerns.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis clearly and sensitively to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

About the Role
