Geriatric Medicine Doctor

We are currently looking for a skilled and compassionate Geriatric Medicine Doctor to join our team in providing top-notch healthcare services to our aging population.

Position Overview

As a Geriatric Medicine Doctor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to elderly patients, helping them maintain their health and independence. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop customized treatment plans for each patient and ensure a holistic approach to their care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of elderly patients.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, considering age-related changes and complexities.
• Prescribe and manage medications to optimize health outcomes.
• Develop and deliver personalized care plans for each patient, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
• Monitor and manage patients medical conditions, including coordinating with specialists and referring patients for further care when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care processes and outcomes.
• Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in geriatric medicine.
  
  

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited university.
• Board certification in Geriatric Medicine.
• Valid medical license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience working with geriatric patients, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and their families.
