Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations of geriatric patients, taking into account their medical, social, and psychological needs.
  • Design and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that they are tailored to each patient's unique situation.
  • Monitor and manage chronic conditions, including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, and cognitive impairments.
  • Educate patients and their families about managing health conditions, preventive care, and promoting healthy lifestyles.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a patient's health.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in geriatric medicine through continuous education.
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Geriatric Medicine is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid medical license in the relevant state.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a geriatric or relevant medical setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of age-related diseases and treatments, along with a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
