Job summary

FL Colombia S.A.S is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineering Manager / Ground Engineering Director to oversee geotechnical engineering, ground investigation, technical coordination, and project delivery activities in Abu Dhabi.

You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with consultants, contractors, and cross-disciplinary groups to ensure safe, efficient foundations, earthworks, and ground improvement works.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in geotechnical or related field.
• 5–10+ years of relevant geotechnical or ground engineering experience.
• Knowledge of soil, foundations, earthworks and ground investigation.
• Familiarity with geotechnical analysis or design software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee geotechnical and ground engineering activities.
• Coordinate engineers, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Review geotechnical reports, drawings, calculations, and documents.
• Support soil investigation, foundation, excavation, and ground improvement works.
• Review ground conditions and provide technical recommendations.
• Support slope stability, settlement, foundation, and geotechnical risk assessments.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, and other project disciplines.
• Monitor technical work, site activities, quality, and project requirements.
• Identify and resolve geotechnical and site-related issues.
• Support construction, inspections, testing, and project handover.
