Job summary

DZ PRIVATBANK (Schweiz) AG is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineering Manager / Ground Engineering Director to lead geotechnical design, site investigations, and technical delivery for large infrastructure projects in the region. You will oversee investigations, analysis, and engineering solutions.

The role requires a degree in geotechnical or civil engineering, 7-10+ years in geotechnical or ground engineering, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering required.
7–10+ years in geotechnical or ground engineering.
Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, slope stability and ground improvement.
Experience with geotechnical analysis and design software.
Leadership and problem-solving skills.
Experience in large-scale infrastructure, buildings, marine, or construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead geotechnical investigations, analysis, design, and technical solutions.
Manage engineering teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
Review soil investigation reports, foundation designs and technical submissions.
Provide solutions for foundations, slopes, retaining structures, excavation and ground improvement.
Identify and manage geotechnical risks and construction challenges.
Monitor technical quality and project deliverables.
