Job summary

SOCOTEC is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer in Abu Dhabi to deliver high-quality geotechnical services in line with local codes and client requirements. You will review investigations, design parameters, and dewatering and soil improvement plans, and participate in technical meetings.

You will lead quality assurance, mentor staff, and ensure safety and timely delivery while developing our client portfolio in the region.

Qualifications

• Familiar with BS, ASTM, AASHTO geotechnical codes and local regulations.
• Experience with geotechnical investigations and code-based design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality work to SOCOTEC clients.
• Meet project timeframes dictated by client and SOCOTEC.
• Ensure work follows instructions and quality standards.
• Lead and mentor engineering staff and support project delivery.
• Participate in technical reviews and client meetings.
