MGE GEOTECHNICS in Dubai is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer for a full-time hybrid role. The position involves planning and designing geotechnical solutions, preparing reports, and supporting project teams during design and construction.

You will collaborate with structural and civil engineers, review submittals, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements while contributing to quality control and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Accredited in Dubai & Abu Dhabi municipality and strong skills in Engineering Geology.
• Solid understanding of soil behavior and geotechnical engineering principles.
• Experience in foundation design including shallow and deep foundations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Experience in geotechnical design and site investigations in the Middle East.

Role Description

This full-time Geotechnical Engineer role at MGE GEOTECHNICS is a hybrid position based in Dubai, abudhabi with a combination of office, site, and work-from-home arrangements. The Geotechnical Engineer will plan & design and make assessment. Responsibilities include preparing geotechnical reports, designing foundations and ground improvement solutions, and providing technical support to project teams during design and construction. The role involves collaborating with structural and civil engineers, attending project meetings, reviewing contractor submittals, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements. The Geotechnical Engineer will also contribute to project planning, quality control, and continuous improvement of internal engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be Dubai & abudhabi municipality acredited strong skillsand Engineering Geology to plan, execute, and interpret ground works.
• Candidates should possess solid understanding of Soil behavior and Geotechnical Engineering principles for analysis and design.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Foundation Design, including shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, and ground improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s degree in a related field is an advantage).
• Relevant experience in geotechnical design and site investigation for buildings, infrastructure, or industrial projects, preferably in the Middle East.
• Proficiency with geotechnical analysis software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, wallap or similar) and standard design codes.
• Strong technical writing skills for preparing clear reports and documentation, and effective communication skills for coordination with project stakeholders.
• Ability to work safely on construction sites, manage multiple projects, and function effectively in a hybrid work environment.
