King’s College Hospital London, Dubai is seeking a skilled Genetic Counselor to join its expanding genomics team. This full‑time role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of genomic medicine in a premier UAE healthcare setting.

You will provide outpatient genetic counseling for pediatric and adult patients, contribute to the newborn genome screening program, and collaborate with oncology, reproductive genetics and laboratory teams to translate complex results into patient‑friendly

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in genetic counseling, genomic medicine, clinical genetics, or a related healthcare setting.
• Clinical placements or supervised training in pediatric, adult, prenatal, oncology, or genomic medicine services.
• Experience in patient-facing roles involving counselling, patient education, healthcare communication, or multidisciplinary teamwork is desirable.
• Exposure to genomic testing pathways, variant interpretation principles, or genetic laboratory processes is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Provide outpatient genetic counseling to pediatric and adult patients referred for genetic evaluation.
• Deliver pre-test education and post-test counseling for newborn genome screening program.
• Support hereditary cancer risk assessments and reproductive counseling for carrier screening and prenatal testing.
• Educate healthcare professionals and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and service development.
