Job summary

A leading hospitality company in Abu Dhabi seeks a Maintenance Technician to respond to daily maintenance requests and ensure a safe environment in staff accommodation. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in general maintenance with skills in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. This full-time role does not offer remote work opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in general maintenance.
  • Ability to perform basic repairs on various systems.
  • Experience in staff accommodation or hospitality is preferable.

Job description
  • Respond to and resolve daily maintenance requests and complaints in staff accommodation.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment systems and facilities.

  • Carry out general repair works including ceilings walls floors doors locks and furniture to ensure safety and comfort.

  • Conduct basic electrical plumbing carpentry and painting tasks as required.

  • Inspect and maintain appliances such as refrigerators and air conditioners to ensure proper functioning.

  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and correctly.

  • Support and guide less experienced staff in maintenance activities when necessary.

  • Ensure drainage systems and common areas are free from blockages or hazards.

  • Work in shifts as per duty schedule to provide timely support.

  • Follow all safety procedures and report potential risks or unsafe conditions promptly.

  • Assist in scheduling and assigning maintenance work as directed by the supervisor.


Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or technical/vocational training in maintenance electrical plumbing or related field.

  • Minimum 23 years of experience in general maintenance preferably in staff accommodation or hospitality industry.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical plumbing carpentry and HVAC systems.

  • Ability to work shifts and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
