Job Summary:

A reputable Medical Center in Sharjah is seeking a General Practitioner (GP) with hands-on experience in a Plastic Surgery Department. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in medication management, wound care, and suturing techniques, and capable of working closely with plastic surgeons to provide comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care for plastic surgery patients.
  • Manage wound care, including dressing changes, infection control, and follow-up.
  • Perform suturing, suture removal, and minor procedures under supervision or independently as needed.
  • Prescribe and manage medications effectively in accordance with medical protocols.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, reporting any complications or concerns to the surgical team.
  • Provide patient education and support throughout the recovery process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
  • Adhere to medical center policies and comply with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
  • Valid UAE MOH/DHA license or eligibility.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a Plastic Surgery setting.
