Job summary

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited internship program.
• Valid DOH License/Eligibility as a General Practitioner.
• Minimum 3 years of post-internship clinical experience, preferably in hospital or primary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions following evidence-based guidelines.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with medications and monitoring.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and lifestyle counseling.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging; coordinate care with specialists.
• Maintain accurate medical records in EMR system.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure integrated care.
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical governance initiatives.
