Job summary

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited internship program.
• Valid DOH License or eligibility as a General Practitioner.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Primary Care with pediatric exposure.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and physical examinations for pediatric patients.
• Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic childhood illnesses.
• Provide preventive healthcare services, including growth monitoring, developmental assessments, and immunizations.
• Manage minor pediatric emergencies and stabilize patients when required.
• Educate parents and caregivers on disease prevention, nutrition, child development, and health promotion.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records.
• Collaborate with pediatric specialists and allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to clinical governance, patient safety, and infection control standards.
